Task boxes are small closed-ended activity boxes that work well for use with small group, one-on-one or for early finishers in the school setting. Task boxes are perfect for preschool classrooms OR home use with ages 3-5 years. The idea behind a task box is it should provide a small activity that children can choose, complete, and clean up independently. Task boxes encourage independent task completion, fine motor skills & early academic concepts like counting and sorting. All activities can be created with things you likely have at home…or changed to utilize items already in your junk drawer.
